Gang Awareness, Prevention and Safety - Fostering Positive Relationships in Our Community
Join the Klaras Center for Families for an engaging presentation designed for youth and young adults (4th–12th grade), their caregivers, and community members. The evening begins with dinner at 5:30 pm, followed by a presentation from 6:00–7:30 p.m. featuring guest speakers with professional expertise and lived experience. Topics include:
Gang awareness and prevention for children, teens, and caregivers
Risks associated with gang activity, including substance use, trafficking, and legal system involvement
Building healthy relationship skills, such as understanding boundaries, resisting peer pressure, and identifying supportive relationships
This event is a valuable opportunity for families and community members to learn strategies for supporting youth and fostering safe, healthy communities.
