Texas County Indigent Health Care Programs help people who don’t have health insurance and can’t afford medical care. If you qualify, the program can help cover basic health services like doctor visits, medicine, and hospital care. Each county runs its own program, so what’s covered and how to apply may be a little different depending on where you live.

WFM was established to address a shortage of doctors, lack of primary care access for low-income community members, and economic development issues in Waco. The center was developed from a coalition of business, political, and medical leaders pulling together to solve these community problems.
