The Waco Police Department’s Neighborhood Engagement Team and Waco Parks and Recreation are coming together to host the 5th Annual Community Opportunity Event at the Dewey Park & Recreation Center!

"The COE" is designed to be a bridge for our community, bringing together a wide range of organizations dedicated to supporting our youth, teens, and young adults. Our goal is to empower the next generation by providing direct access to essential resources, including:

• Career & Education: Job opportunities, higher education scholarships, grant information, and GED resources.

• Personal Growth: Mentoring programs and vital life skills training.

• Wellness: Mental and physical health information and support.

There will be free food and haircuts for the community along with prize giveaways. Please help spread the word! We want to draw as many people as possible to the event, particularly younger individuals. We are also looking for more community partners to join as vendors.
