Join the Klaras Center for Families and Gang Awareness, Prevention & Safety (GAPS) for an engaging presentation designed for youth and young adults (4th–12th grade), their caregivers, and community members. The evening begins with dinner at 5:30 pm, followed by a presentation from 6:00–7:30 p.m. featuring guest speakers with professional expertise and lived experience. Topics include:

• Gang awareness and prevention for children, teens, and caregivers

• Risks associated with gang activity, including substance use, trafficking, and legal system involvement

• Building healthy relationship skills, such as understanding boundaries, resisting peer pressure, and identifying supportive relationships

This event is a valuable opportunity for families and community members to learn strategies for supporting youth and fostering safe, healthy communities.
